How to send a text message:

Select Write Message or Write New from your phones
menu.

Using the keypad, enter your message (up to 160 characters).
- Select
Option then Send.
- Enter
the area code and the mobile number (10-digits) and
select Send again. (Note: you must always include
the area code even if you are sending a message locally
e.g. 246-999-9999)
When you send a Text Message from your mobile phone,
your number will always be displayed on the recipients
handset.
How to read a text message:
When
you receive a Text Message, your phone will alert you.
Most phones allow you to select the type of notification
(e.g. ring, silent, vibrate). Use the scroll keys (up,
down) on your keypad to view the entire message. If
your phone is turned off, or outside the coverage area,
the network will store messages for up to 7 days. If
your phone's message storage is full it will alert you.
You will not be able to send or receive messages.
Replying to a Text Message

After you have read the message, select Reply from
the Options menu

Type in your message and select Send from the Options
menu
