Mobile Email lets you send and receive email messages on your mobile, even while roaming in Caribbean countries where Cable & Wireless operates. And soon you’ll be able to get email while roaming in the US and Canada.

Sending email to your mobile:
Anyone, anywhere in the world, can send email to your mobile phone from regular email programs (Outlook, xchange, Lotus Notes, cc:Mail, Hotmail, etc). No additional costs for the sender and no airtime charges for you.

The sender simply composes a message as usual. In the To: field, they should type your Mobile Email address in the From: field, mobile number@cwmobile.com (e.g., 2462229999@cwmobile.com) or for premium mobile mail users username@cwmobile.com.

Receiving and reading email on your mobile:
Your message will appear on your phone in minutes. Remember message delivery speed depends on Internet speed and dial-out settings in the sender's email program.

Refer to your handset manual for instructions on receiving and reading messages on your particular phone. Most models display an envelope and message such as Message Received.

Your mobile gets email as a Text Message – up to 160 characters. The sender's email address is included in the header.

Use scroll keys to read email messages. A date and time stamp will appear at the end of messages.
